We’ve made it — welcome to the final week of the 2024–2025 school year! Below is our LAST classroom newsletter of the year, covering the week of Monday, June 9th (Week 37 of instruction).
🎉 Free Dress Week (June 9–13)
Students are welcome to wear free dress all week at no charge. Please ensure outfits are school appropriate — if not, students may be asked to call home for a change of clothes.
📚 Curriculum Highlights

ELA: We’ll be wrapping up Charlotte’s Web and completing our novel study packet.

Math: We'll finish our unit on angles and protractor work.

Social Studies: We’ll continue learning about the American Revolution through Liberty’s Kids.
🏃 Field Day – Thursday, June 12th
Field Day is this Thursday! Please make sure your child wears comfortable, weather-appropriate clothes for outdoor play. Consider sending an extra water bottle or Gatorade to help them stay hydrated.
🌮 5th Grade Nacho Bar – Friday, June 13th
We’ll celebrate the last day of school with our 5th Grade Nacho Bar! Please send in any donations Friday morning. A huge thank you to all the families who volunteered — we appreciate your support in making this day special!
⏰ Half Day – Friday, June 13th
Friday is a half day with student dismissal at 11:00 AM. Please plan accordingly.

Report cards will be sent home this week. In the top right corner of the report card, you’ll see your child’s placement for next year:

It has been a true joy teaching this group of students and getting to know all of you. Thank you for your continued support, encouragement, and flexibility throughout this school year.
